Our school Science Department has some exciting activities planned for World Space Week. All pupils have been set a special Space Challenge quiz about space and the solar system on Firefly. The answers provide clues to crack a code which reveals a quote from a famous space physicist. There will be 2 winners from each year group.
On Tuesday, Debbie Soames, STEM Ambassador and Senior Systems Engineer, is coming to talk to our year 11 pupils about acoustics.
On Friday, our year 10 pupils will attend a virtual session with Chris Dobson STEM Ambassador and BAE Flight Systems Engineer. He is working in Germany on rockets and is going to talk to them about flight.
