As part of our ongoing promotion of reading we have arranged another author visit. Alice Broadway, author of ‘Ink’ a young adult novel, is coming into school, on Wednesday 15th November 2017 and will be delivering a writing workshop to all Year 8 pupils. Each class will work with Alice as she shares her experience of writing and encourages our pupils to tap into their own creativity.
Alice has connections with Archbishop Temple School, she is the wife of our previous Chaplain, Dave Buckley, who gave up his post here to look after the children, allowing Alice to continue her work on the next two instalments of the ‘Skin Books’ trilogy. The workshop promises to be engaging, interactive and of great benefit to the pupils.
Alice will also be available to all pupils at lunchtime and will be signing copies of her book. These can be purchased via SCOPAY- online payment- at a cost of £7.05. Please place your order by 3.20pm Friday 10th November 2017. They would make a great Christmas present for teenage readers.
