This morning, we enjoyed listening to the Year 7 Faith Reps leading collective worship. They read from 1 Corinthians 12 which teaches us about the body of Christ and that we all have a part to play. We used a fun illustration by blending a McDonald’s Happy Meal. Fries, an apple pie and a coke are all tasty but when they blend in, not so much. So we could be sure, I tested this concoction first hand this morning and they were right! The Faith Reps invited everyone to think about how they have been created by God and have gifts and talents to play their part. We left this thought for everyone to remember - 'Don't blend in, you were born to stand out'.
