At the beginning of term, our year 9 Geographers enjoyed a fantastic Geography field trip to Bowness. Over two days, 49 pupils collected data across the town in their study of the impact of tourism in a national park.

"Pupils worked really well together in groups," said Mrs Thompson, Teacher of Geography. "The trip seemed to build lots of pupils' confidence and many of them said afterwards how much they had enjoyed it, especially taking a break and having chips and ice-cream!"
